Professional Summary

I do a great deal of both traditional and digital illustration, and I am both self taught and academically trained in drawing and painting. Over the years, I've gained invaluable knowledge on how design elements such as composition and color theory work and how they can be used effectively in an image. Most of my digital artwork is done in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects. I also use other digital illustration applications such as Corel Painter and Smith Micro. While I do use analog materials, such as graphite, charcoal, ink, and acrylic paint, I find it most efficient to work with a combination of both digital and traditional media for drawing and sketching.

Awards

I’ve received awards for having my work in fine art shows both in Helena, Montana, and in Phoenix, including two consecutive awards for the annual Youth Electrum at Holter Art Museum from 2009-2011 and second place in the Maricopa Community Colleges 2014-2015 Visual Art Competition at the Phoenix Art Museum.
